Penn State Schuylkill offers many options for your education and enrichment. You can begin any one of over 160 Penn State majors here at Penn State Schuylkill, and complete your degree at another Penn State campus (2+2 option). Or, you can stay at Penn State Schuylkill and earn one of several bachelor’s or associate’s degrees. Several certificate programs are also available.
Some students choose to remain at one campus for all four years, while other students spend their first two years at one campus and transition to University Park or another campus for their remaining two years. The vast majority of the University’s 160 majors can be completed in this fashion. We call it the 2+2 plan and it’s the most common path to a Penn State degree--about 60% of Penn State students opt for this path in a typical year.
