Adult Learners Admissions

We're pleased that you are considering Penn State as your college choice.   At Penn State Schuylkill, our mission is to provide the highest quality teaching in a friendly, supportive environment.  We are committed to helping you achieve your goals both in and out of the classroom.

This campus offers five baccalaureate degrees and five associate degrees that can be completed here.  In addition, more than 160 Penn State majors can be started at Penn State Schuylkill and completed at our University Park campus or another Penn State location.

For purposes of admission, you will need to determine if you are a first-year or transfer student.

 Are you an Adult Learner who is a First-Year Student?

 First-year students are those who have earned high school diplomas or the equivalent by the time they enroll at Penn State. These applicants include high school graduates attending other regionally accredited colleges or universities who have attempted fewer than 18 semester hours, and individuals who have enrolled in other institutions before graduating from high school, regardless of the number of credits attempted.
