Now that you’ve been offered admission, what are your next steps?
Accept your Offer of Admission to reserve your spot at Penn State

Financial Aid
In order to be considered for any type of financial aid, students must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file. Please click the link above to get started on financial aid.
Housing
On Campus Housing is on a first come, first served basis. Students must accept an offer of admission before they are able to reserve a spot in housing. Housing Offers are generated by the Schuylkill Campus Advisory Board upon acceptance of your offer of admission. You will receive a PAPER contract offer in the US MAIL. Housing offers for the Fall semester are not mailed until February 1.
Off Campus Housing is available in the community surrounding the campus. Click on the link above to get more information about off campus housing and our Student Affairs staff who assists with finding housing off campus.
Academic Advising
After you have paid your acceptance fee you will begin to work with the office of Academic Advising.
- Freshman students will need to take placement tests and attend FTCAP (Freshman Testing Consulting and Advising Program)
- Transfer students will need to contact academic advising to set up an appointment to create their first Penn State schedule.
