Graduate Degree Application Procedures

Candidates may enter the program at the beginning of the fall, spring or summer sessions.  You can obtain graduate application information by contacting Dr. William Davidson at 570-385-6130, or by email at wxd7@psu.edu.

Students are required to submit the following:

• A completed online application (including campus location) at http://www.hbg.psu.edu/hbg/grdegapps.html
• Two copies of official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended
• A brief career goal statement
• If junior/senior grade-point average was below 3.0, but at least 2.5, GRE scores are required and must be submitted with application.

Nondegree Graduate Student Status

Any student who holds a baccalaureate degree, but has not yet been admitted to the Penn State Graduate School, must apply for admission as a nondegree graduate student in order for graduate transcripts to be issued.

Your registration cannot be processed if you have never completed this form.  The online form is available at http://www.gradsch.psu.edu/enroll/nondegree.html.

Transfer Credits

Only degree students can receive transfer credits.  A maximum of 10 graduate level credits may be counted toward the degree, as long as the credits are from an accredited institution, appear on the graduate transcript, and are approved by the program.  Courses taken as a Penn State nondegree student are considered transfer credits.
