Mysteries of Magnetism

This workshop will provide insight into the Electromechanical Technology program and lab located at the Schuylkill Technology Center (STC).

Electromechanical Technology is an instructional program that prepares individuals to apply basic engineering principles and technical skills in both the mechanical and electrical fields. Participants will learn how magnets cause current to flow, motors to run, roller coasters to move, trains to stop, and more.

The material is geared toward high school students interested in exploring the STC, and college students interested in engineering or lab sciences.
