The office of Development exists to provide support to the advancement of the University. Contributions are critical to the success of Penn State Schuylkill.
The Office of Development helps donors connect their desire to help students with the projects that will advance the University as well as serve the needs of those students.
Now, more than ever, it is easier to give to Penn State Schuylkill and you can designate where your gift goes – to supporting one of our established scholarships, or make your gift unrestricted to be directed to current projects or other existing needs.
Ways to Give
Each year, Penn State alumni, parents, and friends provide the University with much needed financial assistance through outright gifts of cash, securities, or other property. Outright gifts have immediate impact and are used to support the current needs of our students. Some examples of gift opportunities are:

Gifts of cash are the easiest and most direct way to give to Penn State Schuylkill and are fully deductible for individuals who itemize on their federal income tax return. Most alumni and friends participate in Penn State's Annual Fund with gifts of cash. These benefactors enjoy seeing the immediate results of their generosity in University programs and they understand the importance of their annual support. Gifts of cash can be made online, by sending a check, or through regular electronic fund transfers from the account of your choice. If you wish to make a donation by check, please make your check payable to “Penn State Schuylkill” and mail to 200 University Drive, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.

Many corporations and businesses in our area have a matching gift program. Through these programs an employee’s gift to an education institution can be matched by the employer one to one, two to one, and in some cases three to one. You can obtain a matching gift from your employer’s human resource office. Just send in completed form along with your gift.
