Police Services
Police Services at Penn State Schulkill employes full time sworn police officers.  These officers are on duty for the safety of students, faculty, staff and visitors at Penn State. The officers enforce all Federal, State and Local laws along with University Policies.

Escorts
Campus Police will provide a walking escort to Penn State students, employees and visitors.  The service is restricted to campus grounds.

Access Buildings
Campus community members and guests have access to most buildings and facilities during regular hours and scheduled events.  If you are an authorized person and need assistance gaining access to a university building or room call the University Police at (570) 385-6144 or (570) 294-0821.

Lost and Found
The Campus Police maintain a lost and found respository in the Police Office located in Room #116 of the Multi-Purpose Building.  Found items should be brought to the Police Office.  People who have lost property on campus should contact Campus Police to make a report.

Vehicle Accidents
All accidents that occur on campus property should be reported to Campus Police immediately.

If possible, do not move vehicles until police officer arrives.

Vehicle Assistance
Campus Police offer free on campus assistance to students, employees and visitors for the following:
VEHICLE LOCK OUT: Keys locked inside vehicle parked on campus.
BATTERY JUMP START: Vehicle will not start due to low battery condition.
NOTE:  The officer will provide an indemnification form that must be completed and signed prior to the officer rendering assistance.

Safety Tips:

  • Don't walk alone!
  • If you must walk alone, travel well lit and heavily traveled routes.
  • Let someone you trust know where you are going, your travel route and what time you should arrive at your destination.
  • Pay attention to your surroundings, walk confidently and know your route.
  • While walking at night wear bright or reflective clothing.
  • If possible carry a cell phone and a flashlight.
  • When walking from a building to your vehicle have your keys ready and in hand.
  • Trust your instincts.
