Penn State Schuylkill provides a warm atmosphere for students desiring a university experience in a small, residential setting, with commuting students adding to the mix of undergraduates. Located in Schuylkill Haven, between two major interstate highways, the campus is near major attractions such as Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, and is at the gateway to the Pocono Northeast with its varied recreational opportunities.

A fine complement of buildings are located at Penn State Schuylkill, including five student apartment units. The Classroom building features our Cotler Computer Center, newly renovated in 2013 Cotler Biology Teaching Laboratory, standard classrooms, and a video learning network classroom. The student/community center is the location of the John E. Morgan Auditorium, the Hidden Stream Café, and the Penn State Schuylkill Bookstore. The Ciletti Memorial Library was dedicated in 1995 and features private study rooms, the Learning Center, and the Advising Center. The Health and Wellness Center feature our student-centered programs and departments, including the gymnasium, a weight training facility, the department of Student Affairs, and classrooms. Our outdoor facilities feature tennis courts and two large athletic fields. Students may also utilize the outdoor beach volleyball and basketball courts.

A wide range of athletic and extracurricular activities are available. lntramural athletics are offered in a wide variety of men's women's and co-ed sports that are conducted over the noon hour. There are over thirty student organizations on campus, including the Student Government Association. A variety of cultural programs and entertainers are provided for the students and community.

To meet the educational needs of all students, Penn State Schuylkill provides personal and career counseling, as well as academic assistance through the Learning Center. Faculty and peer tutors are available to students wishing help in a variety of courses.
