A fine complement of academic buildings is located at Penn State Schuylkill, including four student apartment units, a classroom/laboratory building, a student/community center, and an administration building housing the computer center. The Ciletti Memorial Library was dedicated in 1995 and the Campus has a Multi-Purpose Building housing a gymnasium, weight training facility and classrooms, as well as outdoor tennis courts and a large athletic field. Students may also utilize the beach volleyball and basketball courts.
A wide range of athletic and extracurricular activities are available. lntramural athletics are offered in men's basketball and women's volleyball, with a strong intramural program conducted over the noon hour. Student organizations include Student Government Association, Student Union Board, Eco-Action, Outdoor Club, Future Educators and numerous others. A variety of cultural programs and entertainers are provided for the students and community.
To meet the educational needs of all students, Penn State Schuylkill provides personal and career counseling, as well as academic assistance through the Center for Academic Achievement. Faculty and peer tutors are available to students wishing help in a variety of courses.
