How are your academics going? Need a tune-up? Check out what the CAA can offer you to find success at Penn State Schuylkill!
Popcorn, old exams, and the Nittany Lion. What do they have in common? All three will be readily available on Monday, March 26, from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at the CAA Open House. Join us!
Business has been brisk this semester, and the Center for Academic Achievement continues to be a busy place. Our study skills workshops have had better attendance than in the last ten years, requiring us to make room changes and offer certain workshops more than once. Individual and group tutoring are as popular as ever, and we have already had 2743 contacts since classes began.
The Center for Academic Achievement (CAA) welcomes new and returning students and wishes everyone a successful academic year. In the next few weeks, our staff will be in place, new tutors will complete a three-day training program and we will be ready to assist you in any way we can.
We are now into the eighth week of the spring semester, and it's already a season for setting new records! For starters, it has been one of the mildest winters on record with temperatures averaging at least 15º above normal.
Get to Know us! The CAA will begin tutoring on Thursday, September 1. We need just a few days to set up tutor's schedules. But that doesn't mean you have to wait to introduce yourself and check out our services. You can even schedule your first appointment on the first day of classes. The Center will be open from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
